The Annual Report of municipal operations for 2023 is now available for public review.
Council will hear public input on the report and consider approval at the June 17, 2024 Council meeting at 4:30 pm.
The RDOS is organizing learning brunch workshops across the region on Energy Efficient Homes. One of these workshops will be held on June 8th at the Similkameen Recreation Centre, 311 - 9th Street, Keremeos.
The workshop, "Building Energy Efficient Homes", aims to raise awareness of key practices and considerations in building energy-efficient homes. This workshop is for residents, prospective homebuyers, homeowners and property developers.
The workshop is from 9:30am to 2:30pm and coffee and lunch is provided.

The Village of Keremeos 2024 property tax notices have now been mailed to property owners. If your notice has not been received by June 2, 2024, please call the Village Office at 250-499-2711.
The deadline for property tax payment without penalty is Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 4:00pm.

Fortis BC is offering FREE home energy assessments and the installation of energy-saving products to residents of Keremeos for a limited time. This program is administered by It's On Electric Company.
An energy coach will conduct an energy assessment of your home, install energy saving products for free, and provide you with advice and tips, saving you money and increasing the comfort of your home.
The program includes portable Air Conditioners, so now is a great time to sign up, before the heat strikes!

The Village has a summer student position available within the Public Works Department, beginning approximately end of June to approximately end of August. Applicants must be enrolled in Secondary or Post Secondary school and be minimum 16 years of age. Mechanical aptitude and experience running small power equipment would be an asset.

Municipal public works experience and experience driving heavy equipment would be an asset.
The term of this position is early June to approximately end of September, as required.
