The Village of Keremeos is asking local parents and guardians to share their child care experiences to help create a Child Care Action Plan and Strategy for the region. The survey is part of a broader project that will help the Village of Keremeos, District of Summerland, Town of Princeton, Town of Oliver, and the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS) learn more about child care needs, establish child care space targets and identify actions to meet those targets.
Keremeos parents, guardians and child-care providers are invited to share their experiences with child care. The survey is open to parents and guardians of children up to age 12.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is active until October 19, 2020.
This initiative is supported by the Province of BC and administered by the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) as part of its Community Child Care Space Creation Program. The project team is working with the Social Planning and Research Council of British Columbia (SPARC BC) as well as community partners, to provide a coordinated approach to developing a longer-term child care action plan for the region.
