Interim Chief Administrative Officer

The Village of Keremeos is pleased to announce the hiring of Diane Vaykovich as Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) effective August 2, 2024 due to the recent CAO vacancy.

"Council's priority will be to hire a qualified CAO for the community, said Mayor Wiebe.  A formal recruitment process is underway with the support of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen.  Council will be seeking a candidate who can lead the management team by providing guidance and policy direction to continually improve systems, practices and people development".

Mrs. Vaykovich brings senior management experience as Corporate Officer at the Town of Oliver and local government experience from other municipalities before retirement in 2022.

"I look forward to supporting the dedicated and talented team of employees at the Village of Keremeos.  Working in local government has enabled me to work collaboratively with staff and Council to ensure its policies and programs are progressing.  I am pleased to have this opportunity."
