The Village of Keremeos 2023 property tax notices have now been mailed to property owners. If your notice has not been received by June 2, 2023, please call the Village Office at 250-499-2711.
There are several payment options for property taxes:
- If you are a Valley First customer, you may pay in person at the Valley First Credit Union at 704-7th Avenue, Keremeos.
- Valley First customers may also pay through their Valley First online bill payment application:
- When setting up the Village as a Vendor in the Valley First online account
- search first by “property tax” then select the Village of Keremeos.
- the property Roll Number is the required Valley First “account number”. The Roll Number can be found at the top, left of the property tax notice. The field for the Roll Number (account number) will be 8 digits long, and some Roll Numbers are less than 8 digits long. If this is the case, place zeros at the beginning of your Roll Number to make up the extra digits.
- When setting up the Village as a Vendor in the Valley First online account
- Property tax payments may be dropped into the mail slot at the Village Office at 702-4th Street (available 24/7) and cheques may be post-dated.
- You may pay in person at the Village municipal office, 702-4th Street, Keremeos, 8:30-4:00 Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays.
The deadline for property tax payment without penalty is Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 4 pm.
